Arm\u00e9e de deux batteurs sur socle et motiv\u00e9e par l\u2019objectif de cr\u00e9er un beurre de noix au go\u00fbt sup\u00e9rieur, aux ingr\u00e9dients plus vari\u00e9s et moins chers que les autres beurres de noix sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s sur le march\u00e9, Jill a donn\u00e9 vie \u00e0 Fatso. <\/p>\n<p>Pendant les deux premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, Jill livrait son produit dans les \u00e9piceries de toute la C.-B. Elle organisait des d\u00e9gustations chaque fin de semaine entre l\u2019\u00eele de Vancouver et les basses-terres continentales de Vancouver, croyant fermement que si les gens pouvaient juste go\u00fbter Fatso, ils l\u2019ach\u00e8teraient. Outre sa passion \u00e9vidente pour le beurre d\u2019arachides, Jill \u00e9prouve \u00e9galement une grande passion pour la justice sociale, et s\u2019est promis que si Fatso venait \u00e0 conna\u00eetre le succ\u00e8s, la marque consacrerait des ressources \u00e0 la d\u00e9fense de causes sociales.  <\/p>\n<p>Alors que la marque Fatso continuait de se d\u00e9velopper, Jill s\u2019est lanc\u00e9e \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019un partenaire qui partageait son engagement envers la qualit\u00e9 et qui poss\u00e9dait les ressources pour \u00e9largir la production et pouvoir r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande. C\u2019est l\u00e0 qu\u2019est entr\u00e9e en sc\u00e8ne <a href=\"https:\/\/barbours.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">G.E. Barbour,<\/a> une entreprise alimentaire familiale forte de plus de 150 ans d\u2019exp\u00e9rience dans la fabrication de produits alimentaires de qualit\u00e9, dont du th\u00e9, des \u00e9pices et du beurre de noix. Nous savons reconna\u00eetre une bonne chose quand nous l\u2019apercevons, et Jill avait quelque chose d\u2019excellent entre les mains. Nous avons commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler avec Jill, et lorsqu\u2019elle a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de passer autre chose, Barbour n\u2019a pas h\u00e9sit\u00e9 \u00e0 racheter Fatso en mars 2023. Nous partageons l\u2019engagement de Jill en faveur de la qualit\u00e9, et nous savons qu\u2019on ne change pas une \u00e9quipe qui gagne.
